Cheese Tart
Today is just lucky that we reached 1 Utama Shopping Mall early. And if you are familiar with this shop here, there are always long queue since they started their business 2 weeks ago and we are not going to queue for an hour for a tart. But because we early today, the queue was not that long, so we decided to queue. After 10 min, we bought our cheese tart.
This is their 2nd branch. The 1st branch located at IPC. And they are only sell cheese tart, freshly baked cheese tart.
They claimed that the cheese are high quality direct imported from Japan. The Hanjyuku or 半熟 mean soft boiled. That is why the cheese melt out after the 1st bite.
The whole cheese tart are soft even the skin. You may need to hold with caution, if not the tart may split into half. Unlike the normal egg tart that we usually have which the skin is a bit hard and crunchy.
We have it straight after we bought it. If you are not a fan of cheese, you may skip this tart as this tart is full of cheese (the middle part). My mouth are just full of the cheese after the first bite. You can feel the cheese melt right away with it's skin once it's inside your mouth.
This shop located on the 2nd floor near the escalator to GSC Cinema. You can easily spot them. As for the price, these Hanjyuku Cheese Tart selling at RM7.90 each. It is a bit expensive for a tart and the taste are not really at the expectation level.
The normal egg tart which is from the famous shop Mon Kee only cost RM2.40 each. And yes, they have it in 1 Utama Shopping Mall located at the LG Floor.
It is up to you to choose and try. We are just writing our own opinion, no offence.
