The Old England Manor
It is impossible to miss this building (老英格蘭) on your way up to Cing Jing. Standing tall on the highlands of Nantou, this traditional English Mansion with its white marble facade, gigantic clock on the main tower & detailed wall sculptures is a majestic sight to behold.
It was said that the owner spent 9 years and invested hundreds of millions Taiwan Dollar on this Tudor-style mansion. With their cheapest suite going at TWD15,000, this can be said to be one of the most luxurious and expensive hotel in Taiwan.
Surrounded by green hills, The Old England Manor Hotel is a unique property with a Tudor-style exterior that is an intriguing surprise to find in this part of the world. Complete with a Gothic-style clock tower, the hotel is rich in English artefacts and statues abound throughout the extensive grounds.
To explore the interior, you will need to be a guest staying at the mansion or have afternoon tea here.
This hotel has been awarded as the Luxury Country Hotel 2015 in Luxury Hotel Awards. And have only 19 rooms and a restaurant.
We did not go inside so there will be only outdoor picture of this place.
